Even though we were initially trying to release the key on the exam day itself, we postponed the key release to a few more hours.
This is because ClearIAS does not want to rush with key preparation, and would like to ensure that the key remains as accurate as possible.

Exam Pattern: General Studies Paper 2 UPSC CSE Preliminary Exam 2019 (CSAT)
There were 80 questions (Multiple Choice Questions).
The time allotted was 2 hours (120 minutes).
All questions were for equal marks (2.5 marks). -0.833 is deducted for each wrong answer (yes, there is negative marking).
