The ClearIAS answer key for UPSC Prelims 2019 will be released on this link.

Even though we were initially trying to release the key on the exam day itself, we postponed the key release to a few more hours.

This is because ClearIAS does not want to rush with key preparation, and would like to ensure that the key remains as accurate as possible.

For research and proofreading, we need more time on some confusing/ambiguous questions.

Mark your answers in our UPSC Prelims 2019 re-take exam (109PT), and know your score, relative performance, and expected cut-off score based on our key.

Exam Pattern: General Studies Paper 1 UPSC CSE Preliminary Exam 2019

There were 100 questions (Multiple Choice Questions).

The time allotted was 2 hours (120 minutes).

All questions were for equal marks (2 marks). -0.666 is deducted for each wrong answer (yes, there is a negative marking).
