Hello sir I have a question about my OBC NCL certificate .
I had the same with issuing date of 19/03/2021.
It is valid for applying upsc2022.
@Shivam: While the OBC status of a candidate may change only when the community of the concerned candidate is removed from the OBC list, his/her creamy layer status may change any time. Therefore, it is not possible to determine a fixed validity period for the OBC certificate.
However, for most practical purposes, the validity of an OBC NCL Certificate is treated as 1 year. If your OBC NCL certificate was obtained before 1 year, it is always better to get a new OBC NCL before applying for exams.
Kya 19/03/2021 ko issue hua obc ncl certificate 2022 upsc me apply knre k liye valid hoga?
@Shivam – It is valid for UPSC CSE 2022, as you can apply from February 02, 2022.
Sir my obc ncl certificate is of October 2018.Considering current pandemic situation I I am no position to get it updated before the application form submission date.Shall I apply using the same certificate and show the updated one in mains form submission?
@Ajay: The date on which the certificate is issued needs to be entered in the UPSC Prelims online application form. You have time until Feb 22, 2022 to get a new ceriticate. If this is possible, we recommend you do that. This is because a recent certificate is preferred by UPSC. If that is not practical in your case, apply with your old certificate and submit a new certificate if you qualify for the UPSC interview.
Sir please guide me about counting attempt where can find how many times I appered in preliminary exam . I have lost hall ticket . So how to find no. Of attempt I have given.
@SB – If you have attempted Prelims any time before that will be counted as an attempt. If you have just applied but not appeared, that will not be counted as an attempt. Check your email id or phone number for any records of previous applications. You may also contact UPSC.
Sir I want to know that science is necessary for UPSC exam
@Shivam – Science and Technology is mentioned in the UPSC CSE syllabus. Questions can come from both the Science part as well as the Technology part.
