About the Speaker: Syed Waquar Raza
Syed Waquar Raza is a 2007-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of West Bengal cadre. He holds a B. Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati.
He is currently working in Kolkata Police as Joint Commissioner of Police (Organisation). Earlier had served as Deputy Commissioner of Police in Kolkata, Superintendent of Police in several districts of West Bengal, along with a stint in the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
He has a deep interest in Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and Cryptography.
