Time Table for UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2016

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the timetable for the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2016. The exam will begin on December 3 2016 (Saturday). Freshers may note that the complete syllabus for IAS/IPS exam – Prelims, Mains and Interview – is available in the link – UPSC syllabus. The details of the Main Exam timetable for 2016 is as follows:

• The Indian Language paper (Paper A): Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Santhali, Sindhi (Devanagari/Arabic Script), Tamil, Telugu, Urdu.
• The Optional Paper II (Paper VII) is for the following subjects: Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Anthropology, Botany, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Commerce & Accountancy, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Geography, Geology, History, Law, Management, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Science, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science & International Relations, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology, Statistics, Zoology, Literature of any one of the following languages: Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Santhali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, English

Free UPSC Mains Answer Writing Practice (AWP) – by ClearIAS
