UPSC declared the cutoff marks for Civil Services Exam 2015 as well as Indian Forestry Services Exam 2015. UPSC uses the term minimum qualifying standard (marks) instead of cut-off score. In the Civil Services Examination, 2015 the minimum qualifying standards (marks)/marks secured by the last recommended candidate in various categories at various stages are given below.
Cut off marks for UPSC Civil Services Exam Prelims 2015
Marks for UPSC CSE Prelims that would have fetched a mains call is as below. (Marks out of 200).
- General – 107.34
- OBC – 106.00
- SC – 94.00
- ST – 91.34
- PH1 – 90.66
- PH2 – 76.66
- PH3 – 40.00
Note: In addition to the minimum qualifying marks stated above for GS Paper 1 (marks out of 200), the candidate has to score above 33% marks for GS Paper 2.
Cut off marks for UPSC Civil Services Exam Mains 2015
Marks for UPSC CSE Mains that would have fetched an interview call is as below. (Marks out of 1750).
- General – 676
- OBC – 630
- SC – 622
- ST – 617
- PH1 – 580
- PH2 – 627
- PH3 – 504
# Subject to 10% marks in each of the seven competitive papers i.e. Essay, GS‐I, GS‐II, GS‐III, GS‐IV, Optional‐I and Optional‐II and 25% marks in compulsory papers.

Marks needed to be included in the final rank list for UPSC CSE 2015 is as below (Marks out of 2025).

Cutoff marks for UPSC Civil Services Exam 2015: Analysis
Detailed trend analysis of IAS exam cut-off marks is made by ClearIAS Team in the link. While the cut-off percentage for UPSC CSE prelims has gone up by around 2% in 2015 in comparison with last year, the cut-off percentage remained more or less the same for UPSC CSE mains (general category). Final cut-off marks came down by 22 marks this year (0.6%).
